About the author

Johan van den Eertwegh (1944), born in the Roman Catholic province North Brabant, a southern part of The Netherlands, leaves his native village at the age of 16.

The hypocrite, mendacity atmosphere and the rut of unskilled factory work brought him to this decision.

Appreciation for freedom and live in foreign countries arises when he at that age of sixteen as a mariner at the Royal Dutch Navy roams the seas.

His marriage, ten years evening study and work as a medical research technician at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam followed after he left the Navy.

The stability brought to his live by these circumstances could not suppress the craving for more space and freedom.

He starts his own business. After almost thirty years as a free entrepreneur in various countries he is still enjoying it!
